What Is Operation: Egg Heist?
Egg Heist is a multiplayer world event in Aniimo where 1-3 players explore the dungeon map, collecting eggs and valuable loot before the time runs out. Along the way you’ll uncover hidden rewards, earn useful resources, and sometimes discover items that can significantly boost your progress.
Unlike farming or Homeland production, Egg Heist rewards exploration, teamwork, and quick decision-making. Every run feels a little different, making it one of the most replayable activities currently available during the Closed Beta.
About the Rewards: Umbrabow Eggs
The items we received during Egg Heist in closed beta did not directly benefit us outside of Egg Heist, except for the special Umbrabow eggs. Primarily, it was the Mysterious Umbrabow Egg purchaseable in the Shop that kept me coming back.
The Umbrabow forms are beautiful. They are an Aniimo mutation caused by a dense overflow of Prismana energy, rumored to be caused by the Prismana energy released when capturing a lot of Aniimos in one region, in a short time.

A cute caveat to completing enough successful runs is being to gain ranks.

Let’s Begin: Choose Your Egg Heist Mode (Normal, Hard, Nightmare)
There are three modes – Normal, Hard, and Nightmare. Each mode also differs in the types of rewards that you will receive.

Menus
Next, let’s break down the menus: Loadout, Shop, and Talents
There are 3 menus in the bottom left corner to pay attention to. They allow you to view:
- Loadout (Bag/Inventory)
- Shop (purchase armor, eggs, keys, and more)
- Talents (skill tree using drops from Aniimos defeated within the dungeon)
Loadout
This is the standard functionality in an extraction shooter/game — your loadout goes in and only leaves with you if you extract correctly. This means that the loadout you choose should help make sure that you survive and have capacity to pick up loot so every run is lucrative.
On the left side, you have your Bag. On the right side, you have your Inventory.
Inventory and Backpacks
As you level up, you can get better bags. The tiers go Gold > Purple > Blue > Green and their slot tiers are:
- Gold – 20 slots
- Purple – 15 slots
- Blue – 10 slots
- Green – 6 slots

Talents (Egg Heist Skill Tree)
As you adventure through the dungeons, you will come across upgrade materials that drop from defeating the Umbrabow? Aniimo in the dungeon.

Select Your Loadout
When you first begin you will do well with the Green or Blue backpack, Green or Blue BINI and whatever upgrades you can afford. You will loot the dungeon and methodically increase your wealth. Beginning with Normal mode –> hard mode —> nightmare you will find the best look is in Nightmare mode. And so are the tougher bosses.

For Armor, you get a robot BINI that can wear amplifiers (see also: her winges head/ears). Each of these can come with up to 3 upgrade chips. The chips are specific to the function. The main categories for the Amplifers and BINIs seems to include:
- Skills increasing capacity
- Skills increasing damage
- Slightly increasing the skill
- Greatly enhancing/increasing the skill’s power
For my Loadout, I like to maximize capacity. That’s just how I operate.
There is also a skill that heals you and one that gives you a flashlight with a terrible cooldown.
